1/2" PVC Chemical Injection Quills

1/2" diameter PVC chemical injection quills.

• This product, QB-PVC-50, does NOT come with a check valve.
• This standard quill length of 2 3/4" is ideal for injecting into a 4" diameter pipe.
• Good up to 150 psi.
• Good up to 100F.
• Models QC-PVC-50 come WITH an internal check valve.
• For 3/4" NPT fittings, consider using a 3/4" PVC injection quills.
• 1/2" NPT longer injector quills up to 24" in length are available.

These Quills are made from PVC. The units only require Teflon tape and hand tightening.
Over tightening or tightening with a wrench, pipe wrench or similar tool can put too much pressure on the quills what might lead to damages and quill failure.

Are PVC Injection quills acceptable for injecting Sulfuric Acid into a 4-inch pipe?

The correct answer depends on the concentration of sulfuric acid you are working with. The material compatibility rating is excellent up to 75% Sulfuric Acid. Above 75%, the rating is poor which will cause damages in the quill. Kynar is an excellent choice for all concentrations of Sulfuric Acid.
