Hydrogen Peroxide Test Kits
Cleaning & Sanitation Applications
ChemWorld hydrogen peroxide test kit is used to verify the concentration levels of hydrogen peroxide used in the cleaning and sanitation industry. It is used to test hydrogen peroxide levels in sanitizer applications, wash water applications and waste water applications. ChemWorld also sells concentrated concentrated hydrogen peroxide.
Directions:
- Rinse three times.
- Add 8 drops of Ferroin Indictor. Should turn orange.
- Add one drop at a time of Ceric Sulfate 0.0791N.
- Multiple answer out based on dilution.
What is the ppm value of a 3.5% Hydrogen Peroxide solution?
3.5% Hydrogen Peroxide equals 35,000 ppm
Which Test kit should I use to measure that?
Our TK3340 has a drop equivalency of 1 drop = 50 ppm in a 10 mL sample
You could manipulate the sample size to 1 mL and have an equivalency of 1 drop = 500 ppm. Then your drop count would be around 70 drops.
If 70 drops are too many then you could always do a separate 1:24 dilution and pull 10mL of that solution. Then 1 drop = 1250ppm. This puts the number of drops required in the 30 drop range. Much more manageable.
- Is there way we can have different option with PPM level for the TK3340-Z Titration Kit? How much my sample has to be to measure 5 or 10PPM per drops?
- It is possible you would need to take a 100 mL sample for a 5 ppm factor or a 50 mL sample for a 10 ppm factor. You will probably need to use extra drops of ferroin indicator to darken the color at those sample sizes.
