ChemWorld Chiller Coolant 1000 is a proprietary Corrosion Inhibitor & Cleaner that is design for direct use for small chiller applications. Just add directly to your chiller to prevent corrosion and bacteria growth. Add direct. Do not dillute. This product may be mixed with Propylene Glycol. ChemWorld Chiller Coolant 1000 is a non-propylene glycol solution. If you require a glycol based solution please refer to ChemWorld SubZero.

ChemWorld Chiller Coolant 1000:

• Protects steel, copper, brass, aluminum and other metals from corrosion
• Penetrates, disperses and eliminates organic growth and deposits.
• Contains a blue colored indicator.
• Environmentally friendly and low-hazard.
• Designed as a ready to use product that should be added to the chiller system without diluting.
• Demineralized water based to provide improved heat transfer versus glycol.

I have a small 80 ton closed loop chiller with approx 706 gallons of water flowing. How many gallons of chiller coolant 1000 would be needed? Our Chemworld Chiller Coolant 1000 is designed to be used as is. That means you would need 706 Gallons of the chemical to fill your system.
Is the chiller coolant 1000 a food safe fluid? No, our Chiller Coolant 1000 is not food grade.

Should I use this in my chiller in place of Glycol? That depends on the temperatures in the system. Our Chiller Coolant 1000 has the same freeze points as water. It's not an Antifreeze.
