Bromine Test Kit

Bromine is an oxidizer used as a disinfectant. Bromine based biocides are gaining popularity due to environmental restrictions on chlorine. Be aware that chlorine can cause a false positive in most bromine tests.

Directions:
  1. Rinse vial 3 times.
  2. Fill to 10 ml.
  3. Add 10 drops of Potassium Iodide (PI1450 ).
  4. Add 10 drops of Starch Indicator 1% (ST5010 ).
  5. Add 3 drops of SA1940 until it turns a blue/black.
  6. Add one drop at a time until it turns clear with ST2705 .
