Directions:

1. Rinse Vial three times.
2. Draw 10 mL of Solution.
3. Add 3 drop P Indicator (PH1605-A).
4. Add one drop at a time of NaOH (SH6325-A) until it turns pink.
5. Multiple the number of drops x 0.26 = % Citric Acid

I’m looking into buying a citric acid test kit, however from your site I don’t think I can differentiate as to whether it tests for “real” citric acid (from actual citrus fruit), or is it the kind that comes from black mold? I need a kit that tests for that very specific type.

Our Citric Acid Test kit is designed for industrial water systems. It will not help to identify where the Citric Acid comes from.
