OH Alkalinity Test Kits
"OH" Total Alkalinity Test Kits comes in 1 drop = 10, 20, 25, 50, and 100 ppm.Directions:
- Fill the mixing bottle with water sample to be tested to the 25 mL mark.
- Add 10 to 12 drops of Barium Chloride Solution.
- Add 8 drops of P Indicator.
- If water changes to white, there is no Hydrate alkalinity. If the sample turns red or pink, continue test.
- Add titrating solution drop by drop to the end point where the solution turns turbid white.
- The Hydrate "OH" Hydroxide of the water, in ppm, is equal to the number of drops times the factor on the bottle.
