Total Hardness Test Kits
Total Hardness Test Kits (HIBP) comes in 1 drop = 2, 5,10, 20, 25, and 50 ppm.Directions:
- Fill the vial bottle to 25 ml with water to be tested.
- Add 1 scoop of Hardness Indicator Powder and swirl.
- If the water turns Blue, no hardness is present and report as 0 ppm.
- If the water turns Red or Pink, continue test.
- Add titrating solution, drop by drop, swirling the vial until the solution turns Blue.
- The calcium hardness is the number of drops times the factor of the test.
