1. Rinse and fill two LVP test cells (#9018) to 15 cm mark with water to be tested.
2. Wipe dry and place in two slots adjacent to center slot of comparator base (#9189) WITH FROSTED SIDE FACING OPERATOR.
3. Rinse and fill 50 mL graduated bottle (#9222) to 25 mL mark with water to be tested.
4. Using a 3 mL pipet (#4078), add 5 mL (2 x 2.5 mL) R-0905 Citrate Buffer. Cap and mix.
5. Add 2 dippers R-0906 Periodate Powder. Cap and mix by inversion until dissolved.
6. Rinse and fill third test cell to 15 cm mark with treated sample. Wipe dry and place in center slot of comparator base. WAIT 5 MINUTES.
7. Place Slide on comparator base. Hold comparator base with tops of test cells pointed toward natural daylight, such as a window, or, preferably, place on base of LVP lamp (#9196).
