ChemWorld Rust S2: Rust, Oxide, Scale, & Corrosion Removers

Once we mix at 1:10 and pour in our metal pipes, how long should we let it sit in the pipes before flushing the them with water?

We can not provide an estimate when it comes to the contact time, as there can be damage with any acidic product. Typically Chemworld Rust S2 should only be used until the major corrosion is removed and no longer.

Will Rust S2 cause any damage to rubber seals or plastic?

No, the product will not damage ‘rubber’ seals or plastic.

Referencing Product Code: RUST-S2-5. We are trying to eliminate White Rust from steel and was wondering if this would remove the Zinc-Galvanizing off of it or not. Please advise. If so, do you have a product that removes white rust without removing the zinc?

Our Chemworld Rust Citric will do that very well. Keep in mind, the white rust on galvanized is zinc oxide, so by removing that it does remove a portion of zinc. Use at 5% by volume.

What is the best product to remove deep rust from old car bodies?

Deep seated rust is actually better removed by an extremely strong caustic product, or a strong acid. Acid such as our Chemworld Rust S2 is the faster method.

What is the best way to apply ChemWorld Rust S2 on rusty car parts? Brush, wire brush, sponge? Rinse with water afterward?

Soak is the best by far. Brush it on is second, but it will take a few coats. Wire brush to remove the heavy residue. Always rinse when complete. Use at 4-parts water and 1-part chemical to start.
