Sodium Benzotriazole

ChemWorld 506 is a product designed to provide increased corrosion protection for copper and copper alloys. The product contains an benzotriazole designed to rapidly passivate the copper and copper alloys commonly utilized in cooling water condensers and piping systems.

ChemWorld 506 is used as an adjunct corrosion inhibitor or may be applied to parts as a copper corrosion protection chemical. This is the most concentrated benzotriazole product at 50% solution.

This product is a blend of:

• Sodium Benzotriazole (Cas. No. 15217-42-2) - 40 to 60%
• Sodium Hydroxide (Cas No. 1310-73-2) - Less the 1%
