Copper Corrosion Inhibitor
ChemWorld 503 is a product designed to provide increased corrosion protection for copper and copper alloys. The product contains an azole designed to rapidly passivate the copper and copper alloys commonly utilized in cooling water condensers and piping systems. PRODUCT FEED AND CONTROL
ChemWorld 503 is normally fed using a cooling tower chemical metering pump or shot fed neat directly from the shipping container. Tanks, pumps, piping and valves should be made of stainless steel, polyethylene, or PVC. Treatment control ranges vary depending on the make-up water characteristics and system operating conditions. ChemWorld 503 is controlled by an azole test. The technical specialist servicing the facility will provide specific treatment control levels based on system conditions.
