Caustic Cleaner & Paint Stripper
Industrial powder alkaline spray cleaner and paint stripper. Ferrous Metal Only. Excellent as a paint booth purgent. For best results spray apply. ChemWorld ALK-POWDER is:- A blend of select alkali’s, non-phenolic penetrating agents, anti-scale agents, dispersant, and wetting agents.
- Low in odor and provides rapid penetration and emulsification of even the most difficult greases, such as, urethanes, pipe dope, epoxies, waxes, and even powder coated paint.
- Effective in removing many types of inks, pigments, particulate, and light scale around heat exchange areas.
- Exhibits extended tank life and is economical.
- Suitable for use in industrial spray hot alkaline grease stripping operations.
- Unique in its soil penetration ability due to a special combination of solvents absorbed into the product which loosens even resinous and oxidized greases and oils. If the solution can contact surfaces, the soils and build-up can be removed.
- Laboratory pre-testing of the cleaner for effectiveness is typically recommended prior to start-up.
- Light Soils: Mix at 0.2 pounds of ALK-POWDER per gallon of water prior to use.
- Moderate Buildup: Mix 0.5 pounds of ALK-POWDER per gallon of water prior to use.
- Extreme Residue and Gross Soils: Mix at 1 pound of ALK-POWDER per gallon of water prior to use.
