Phosphate Test Kit
A boiler phosphate test kit is commonly used to monitor proper phosphate residuals in the boiler water, hot water, or steam boiler. A typical phosphate residual in boiler water is between 10 to 20 ppm of phosphate or 7 ppm of phosphate per 1 ppm of hardness. This product works great with testing boiler chemical treatment programs like ChemWorld 1595.
Directions (1.0 to 10.0 ppm)
- Fill test tube to 5ml mark with water sample to be tested.
- Using the pipet, add 1 ml of VM Phosphate Reagent to test the sample.
- Insert rubber stopper and invert the test tube several times to mix.
- Wait 5 minutes.
- Add 3 drops pf Liquid Stannous Chloride. Replace the rubber and invert the tube several times to mix. Color will appear within 10 seconds.
- Insert into comparator and read.
For 10.0 to 100.0 , use 0.5 ml of water with 4.5 deionized water and repeat steps 2-6 and multiple by 10.
