Chemical Day Tanks
What is a Chemical Day Tank?A chemical day tank is used when you are purchasing concentrated boiler products and choose to mix the chemicals onsite. A chemical day tanks works with both dry and liquid chemicals.
Neptune recommends the pump be mounted for a flooded suction. Flooded suction is the optimum operating condition for a metering pump. Side mounting the pump allows easy access for maintenance. Standard equipment included with each feed system:
- Polyethylene tank and frame
- Agitator bracket
- Cover
- PVC suction valve
- Cast Iron "Y" Stainer
- PVC suction piping
- 1/2" drain connection
This unit comes with a 50 gallon polyethylene tank and steel stand. Optional, bottom pumps must be selected. Once installing make sure to use the proper injection quill to ensure the chemical is properly injected.
What are the maximum discharge pressures of the pumps?
All pumps are meet a minimum of 150 psi. Some rate up to 900 psi. If your pressure is above 150 psi please email us and we will provide this information to you

- L-1-300 is 1/20HP-1-115-60-TEFC RPM
- A-1-300 is 1/3HP-1-115-60-ODP-1725 RPM
- A-1-301 is 1/4HP-1-115-60-TEFC-1725 RPM
