ChemWorld 1-Step 494 is a Polymeric, Complete-Oil-Rejecting, Neutral pH Cleaner and Flash Rust Inhibitor. Formulated near-neutral pH with very low foaming it may be used with all metals. Splits even soluble and dispersed oils. ChemWorld 1-Step 494 is the first cleaner in the industrial marketplace to reject not only straight petroleum and vegetable oils, but also most SOLUBLE oils and metal working fluids. ChemWorld 1-Step 494 is:
  • A blend of biodegradable synthetic detergents, oil demulsifiers, and water conditioners in a convenient liquid form.
  • Provides a mild cleaning and sheeting action to the rinse solution of all ferrous, aluminum, and yellow metal components.
  • Will not and cannot emulsify or saponify oils, and cleans by lifting and floating the soils from the substrate surface.
  • Is outstanding with certain select oil separation systems, most notably ARR’s Suparatorâ„¢, and can readily pass through most in-line micro-filtration systems without plugging.
  • Is caustic free and completely non-silicated, but has the power to easily clean almost every soil encountered in industrial cleaning processes.
  • Contains rust inhibitors which will survive further heating operations, including annealing and dry-off ovens, for up to 90-days indoor corrosion protection.

The Chemworld 1-Step 494 Polymeric, Complete-Oil-Rejecting, Neutral pH Cleaner and Flash Rust Inhibitor is used in recirculating spray systems and in immersion tanks. The temperature must be over 100’F if it is recirculated, a higher concentration should be used if used in immersion tanks.
