Steam Filming Corrosion Inhibitor

ChemWorld 9010 is a non-amine, steam filming corrosion inhibitor specifically designed to protect boiler condensate systems from attack by oxygen and carbonic acid. ChemWorld 9010 forms a protective film on exposed metal surfaces that serves as a barrier between the metal and the corrosive species. ChemWorld 9010 is normally used in combination with other treatment chemicals to provide a complete program.

Product Feed and Control
ChemWorld 9010 must be fed continuously to the systems being treated. The product may be fed neat or diluted down to a lower concentration in a chemical feed tank. Demineralized water or Condensate are recommended for dilution. It should not be mixed with the other treatment products required to complete the program. Feed to a point in the steam header where good distribution will occur is preferred. An injection quill is recommended. Tanks, pumps, piping, and valves should be made of stainless steel, polyethylene, or PVC.

This product must be injected near the center of the steam header with a retractable chemical injection quill. We always recommend automation when using this product by installing a boiler conductivity controller when using this product.
